How to write in Armenian on Windows XP?

There is different solution for that problem and two of them we will try to introduce you. First solution is setting up Windows XP "Language Option". Second solution is using well-known "KDWin Keyboard Driver" program.
Sometimes it seems very difficult to find the answer to the simple question "How write Armenian on Windows XP?". There is different solution for that problem and two of them we will try to introduce you. First solution is setting up Windows XP "Language Option". Second solution is using well-known "KDWin Keyboard Driver" program.

How setup "Armenian Language Support" on Windows XP
- First of all, you must open "Regional and Language Options". You can do that by going
- "Start" > "Control Panel" > "Regional and Language Options"

- Or you can do the same thing by going
- Then click on "Regional and Language Options"
From "Explorer" Address bar select "Control Panel"
- After you open "Regional and Language Options", go to the "Language" tab and select "Install files for complex script and right-to left languages (including Thai)", then click on "Apply" button. This will install Armenian language support ("Armenian Eastern" and "Armenian Western" keyboard layouts) in your system. Click "Details..." button to start keyboard layout setup.
- Click on the language tab.
Check "Install files for complex script and right-to left languages (including Thai)" option.
Click "Apply" button
Click "Details..." button.
- On the "Settings" tab click the "Add..." button to add a new keyboard layout to your "Language Bar". Select "Armenian" for "Input language:" option and "Armenian Eastern" or "Armenian Western" for "Keyboard layout/IME". You can also download and use "Armenian Phonetic Eastern (Custom)" layout, which is, we belive, more convenient to use than other two layouts. Click "OK" to set input language and appropriate layout.
- Click "Add..." button

Set "Keyboard layout/IME: Armenian Phonetic Eastern (Custom)"
Click "OK"
- Click "Language Bar..." button and set "Set the Language bar on the desktop" option. Click "OK" to set language bar settings.
- Click "Language Bar..."
Check "Set the Language bar on the desktop" option
Click "OK"
- Click on the "Advanced" tab and make sure "Extend support of advanced text service to all programs" to turn on advanced text services.
- Click "Advanced" tab
Check "Extend support of advanced text service to all programs" option
Click "OK"
- Now you can see the "Language Bar" on the desktop. You can leave it there or by clicking "-" button, minimize it on the Task bar(recommended). Now you can change input language by clicking on the "Language Bar" button or use "CTRL+Shift" or "Left Alt"+"Shift" shortcuts, depending your settings on "Key Settings..."
- Click "Language Bar" button to change input language
Click "-" to minimize "Language Bar" on the Task bar
How setup and use "KDWin Keyboard Driver" on Windows XP
- First of all, download and install "KDWin Keyboard Driver". After running it, you will notice a flag on the Taskbar notification area. Click the flag to activate program main window.
- Click on the flag icon

- Click on the "Configuration" button or go "Tools" > "Configuration" from the menu.
- Click on the "Configuration" button

- In the "Configuration" dialog, select appropriate languages for "Alt+Left Shift" and "Alt+Right Shift" key combinations. Make sure you select "Unicode" layouts or fonts for maximal compatibility with other applications.
- Select appropriate languages for "Alt+Left Shift" and "Alt+Right Shift" key combinations
