PRESIDENT KOCHARIAN TOURS BORDER TROOPS
President Robert Kocharian toured several border bases on December 9-11. Defense Minister Serzh Sargsian accompanied the commander-in-chief, the president’s press service reported.
The tour’s goal was to study the combat and technical capacity of the troops as well as their social conditions. Kocharian spoke with the officers and commanders, watched the training, toured the medical and dining facilities.
During his three-day tour, the president familiarized himself with the real conditions of the troops and their families.
