FRENCH CITY OF VALENCE RECOGNIZES NAGORNO-KARABAKH INDEPENDENCE
Nagorno-Karabakh Republic President Arkady Ghukasian visited the French cities of Paris, Nice, Bur-le-Valence and Valance.
As reported by the Public Radio of Armenia, In Nice, Arkady Ghukaiyan met with Muriel Marlan-Militelroy, a member of the French Parliament and deputy president of the Armenian-French Friendship group. Ghukasian briefed him on the Artsakh position on the settlement of the conflict with Azerbaijan and talked about the current reforms being implemented in the republic.
In Bur-le-Valance, Ghukasian participated in the opening ceremony of a memorial of the Armenian Genocide victims. He was also received by the Mayor of Valance, Lena Beslan.
The latter stated that Valance recognizes the independence of Nagorno-Karabakh, and expressed the hope that this step will become the start of Artsakh’s international recognition.
