NATO MAY DEPLOY PEACEKEEPING FORCES IN SOUTH CAUCASUS
“NATO is ready to deploy its troops in South Caucasus, in case there is the necessity of it, and in this context, cooperation of the Alliance with OSCE is extremely important,” NATO's communications officer for the South Caucasus Romualds Razuks has said.
The statment was made at the Seminar of the Atlantic Association of Armenia entitled “Issues and Opportunities in Black See region and the role of youth in the process of establishment of regional stability.”
At the same time, Romualds Razuks mentioned that the decision on possible deployment of peacekeeping forces should be taken by conflicting sides.
