KOCHARIAN, SIMONS DISCUSS ISSUES OF MUTUAL INTEREST
President Robert Kocharian received today Robert Simons, the special representative of the NATO secretary general in South Caucasus and Central Asia.
The parties discussed issues related to the actions plan for Armenia’s individual partnership with NATO.
Speaking of the reforms in the Armenian army, Kocharian mentioned that while it is hard to carry out such reforms in the conditions of “no peace, no war,” Armenia is still determined to carry on.
Simons, in turn, said that NATO views the region as whole but develops its partnership based on the situation in each of the countries.
