CATHOLICOS GAREGIN II CONGRATULATES NATION OVER INDEPENDENCE DAY
- Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II issued a congratulatory address on the occasion of the Independence Day of Armenia.
"September 21, 1991 opened a new page of our history," the address reads in parts. "Our people did not yield before the Artsakh liberation struggle, earthquake and blockade, and defended its right to live in freedom. We have to take care of each day of the free Armenia for the progress, prosperity and bright future of our Homeland."
