ARMENIA STANDS READY TO RENDER ASSISTANCE TO KATRINA VICTIMS

Armenia will extend financial and other assistance to the United States, Armenian Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanian told a press conference on Tuesday, Noyan Tapan reported.
He mentioned that he has instructed Armenian ambassador to render help to the states hit by the hurricane Katrina. Besides, he added, the Armenian government keeps in touch with the US embassy in Yerevan and will soon receive the list of needs.
