DAVIS SAYS PRAGUE PROCESS FACILITATED KARABAKH SETTLEMENT

Speaking to the European Parliament press office, Secretary General Terry Davis said there is no doubt that there are some serious shortfalls – such as obstacles to freedom of assembly and expression in Azerbaijan, according to a REGNUM report. "These are basic human rights that should be respected in a democratic country," he has been quoted as saying.
Taking a question regarding the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement, Davis indicated that the Prague process has greatly facilitated a Karabakh conflict settlement.
