HAYKAKAN ZHAMANAK: 56,000 LEAVE ARMENIA FOREVER THIS YEAR
- The paper says it has learned from the General Department of Civil Aviation that around 56,000 air passengers left Armenia permanently in the first six months of 2012.
Citing the Department's recently unveiled data, it claims that this number tops last year's records by 800. The number of the air passengers who travelled back to the country in June is said to exceed by 13,000 the number of those who left. In May, however, the departures of the Armenian citizens topped the arrivals by around 20,000, says the paper.
