PROSPEROUS ARMENIA SPOKESPERSON COMMENTS
- In an interview with Tert.am, Baghdasar Mheyan, Spokesperson for the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP), commented on the PAP MP Vardan Bostanjyan's statement. He noted that Bostanjyan voiced his personal opinion, and it is up to the party to reprimand him or not. At his Wednesday press conference, Bostanjyan said that the the PAP intends to support Armenia's incumbent President Serzh Sargsyan in the 2013 presidential election. He also said that the PAP remains committed to the coalition memorandum. Also, Khachik Galstyan, Spokesman for PAP Chairman Gagik Tsarukyan, as well as the PAP member Naira Zohrabyan, stated that Mr Bostanjyan voiced his personal opinion. Tert.am failed to get in touch with Mr Bostanjyan to find out why his statement evoked varied responses within the party.
