FRENCH UNIVERSITY SAYS IT REINSTATES LECTURERS' RIGHTS
- Based on a appeals court ruling to annul a decision on expelling 12 lecturers of the French University of Armenia (UFAR), the University's leadership immediately proceeded to reinstating those lecturers' right. "The University immediately provided full redress to those lecturers and reinstated their rights, giving them the same teaching hours based on the curriculum for the 2011-12 academic year. In the course of his state visit to Armenia on October 6-7, French President Nicolas Sarkozy said UFAR will continue its mission, strictly following the traditions of the French higher education," reads a statement by the University.
