CEMIL CICEK: DINK'S ASSASSINATION, TRIAL TO NEGATIVELY IMPACT ON TURKEY
- Turkey's Parliament Speaker Cemil Cicek remarked on some agenda issues in a televised show, particularly focusing on France's Senate discussion of Armenian Genocide bill and Dink trial verdict. "Anka" news agency reported Cicek had promised to authorize all those historians who would like to study Turkish archives. Referring to the shameful trial on Hrant Dink's murder case, Turkish Parliament Speaker stated that the Court of Appeal would discuss the verdict and a final assessment would be issued. According to the Turkish official Dink's assassination and the trial have had a negative impact on Turkey's reputation and domestic peace.
