E. SHARMAZANOV: TODUA MAKES ABSURD STATEMENT
- Georgian Parliament's Deputy Speaker Fridon Todua issued a statement Tuesday in Baku which particularly says: "Georgia and Azerbaijan will return occupied territories, as those lands belong to them." "Georgian statesman appeared with an absurd statement far from the reality. I would say to Todua that not a single Armenian statesman has ever made incorrect statements in address to a third country," Armenian Parliament's Deputy Speaker Edward Sharmazanov remarked on his Georgian counterpart's statement. NA public relations department informs E. Sharmazanov has urged his Georgian counterpart to get acquainted with the history of his nation, where he could read about Georgians and Armenians, but not a single word about Azerbaijanis.
