IRANIAN STUDENTS TORE DOWN FLAG OF BRITISH EMBASSY TO TEHRAN
- The flag of British Embassy to Tehran has been pulled down as Iranian students were holding mass demonstration in Tehran, Iranian "IRIB" news agency said. According to the source, some students managed to break through the police officers, entered the Embassy territory, broke the windows and pulled down the state flag, replacing it with that of Iran. The students chanted "Death to England", "Death to America" and demanded ousting of British Ambassador from the country. Some Western countries, including Great Britain, imposed fresh sanctions against Iran and the central bank.
