MAYOR OF DIARBEKIR: TURKEY DETERMINED TO ANNIHILATE CHRISTIANITY
- The international foundation after Hrant Dink supported by the institute of political and social studies of Diarbekir has organized a panel discussion on "social and economic history of Diarbekir and its neighborhood." Turkish "En son haber" news site said the Mayor of Diarbekir Osman Baydemir has also attended the discussion.

The Turkish official said that half a century ago Turkey used to implement a policy of annihilating Christianity. According to Baydemir Turkey carried out massacre of religion of Armenians, Jews, Greeks and other religious minorities. "Even if we have some black pages in our history, some disgusting pages, we cannot deny them, as it's our moral and political obligation to accept them," said the Mayor of Diarbekir.
