PRIME MINISTER OF TURKEY MAKES REORGANIZATIONS IN MAJOR CABINET
- In a major cabinet reshuffle by Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Friday, Ahmet Davutoglu, the official who has shifted Turkish foreign policy toward a greater focus on the Middle East, was made foreign minister, Turkish media reports. Mr. Davutoglu previously served as a foreign policy adviser to the prime minister. Ali Babacan, who had served as foreign minister, became the new finance minister. In all, eight ministers lost their posts in the reorganization.
