“STOP VANDALISM” ARMENIAN YOUNG PEOPLE AT AMBASSADOR OF GEORGIA
- While the Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan was talking in a press conference about the destruction of Armenian monuments in Georgia and saying that Georgia is a relative country for Armenia, hence an uncareful step can damage those relations, the students of 12 universities of Armenia and the representatives of NGO-s were making a protest against Georgian vandalism in front of the UN office in Yerevan. The Representative of the UN office in Armenia Consuelo Vidal met the young demonstrators and took the written document they had and promise to present it to the UNESCO office. The next step was protest in front of the Embassy of Georgia. The Ambassador met the young people and promised to talk about their problems and demands with their authorities.
