TURKISH JOURNAL ACCEPTS THAT ARMENIAN AND JUWISH SONGS
- According to Eni Ecktuel journal published in Turkey Chirpindi ghara deniz song belongs to famous Armenian poet Sayat Nova. It is written in the journal that Sayat Nova who lived in 18th century dedicated the song to his favorite instrument qamancha. According to the authors of the article in 1960 Turkish nationalists changed the words of the song. According to the same source, another song which seems to be Turkish has Jewish origin.
