EDVARD NALBANDYAN CONTINUOUS HIS MEETINGS IN WASHINGTON DC
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Edvard Nalbandyan, who is in Washington in working visit, in July 16, had a meeting with the Assistant of European and Eurasian Affairs of US secretary of state, Daniel Freed. Panorama.am was told in the press service of MFA of RA that during the conversation problems of Armenian -American relationship`s agenda have been discussed. They turned also the security and stability of the territory concerning the problems and their solutions. The minister Nalbandyan and vice-US secretary of states, Freed, spoke about post election developments in Armenia and taken measures of Armenian authorities to overcome them. They also discussed perspectives of Armenian-Turkish relationship`s settlement. At the same day Edvard Nalbandyan had a meeting with ONCE Minsk American co-chair Matthew Braiza and discussed the details of the negotiations of the settlement of Nagornyy Karanbakh, results of the co-chairs` last visit to the territory as well as a chance of a new meeting of Armenian and Azerbaijan ministers of FA. Talking about the continuation of the negotiations the minister emphasized that the rebellious statements and warlike preaching done by Azerbaijan authorities to Armenia don`t get the deserving mark by international society, which itself complicates the atmosphere of the negotiations. After the second half of the day Nalbandyan had separate meetings with the chairmen USA Armenian organizations: Armenian National Committee of America, Armenian Assembly of America, United State- Armenian Political Action Committee and the minister presented Armenian governmental project of cooperation and reciprocal support with Diaspora and the perspectives and the aim of the formation of the Ministry of Diaspora Affairs.
