IMPROVED NATO WEEK IN ARMENIA
NATO Week in Armenia was a success. To me the project was rather rich compared with the last one and we can register a step forward, said Ambassador Samvel Mkrtchyan, the head of Armenian delegation to NATO concluding the result of the week. According to him besides conducting events, seminars and meetings some ministries have also joined the general work. Every organization works on drafting security mechanisms, he said. The Ambassador said that Armenia will continue its cooperation via project Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP). Armenia is intended to increase the number of its peacekeeping forces. We would like to establish a peacekeeping brigade which would be profitable for our counter, said S. Mkrtchyan.
