FOR EQUIVALENCE RESTOREMENT
In the project section of the National Assembly official web site a recommended project is attached about the wages of legislative, executive, court authorities to make changes and supplements. The authors of the current project are NA deputies Arcvik Minasyan (ARF), Aram Safaryan (PA), Vardan Bostanjyan (PA), Rafik Petrosyan (Republican), Shirak Torosyan (Powerful Aremnia), Artashes Avoyan (CoL) and Hovhannes Margaryan (CoL). Hence if the law is adopted the salary of the president of the RA will be increased from 400.000 AMD to 800.000 AMD, and the salaries of the National Assembly Chairman, Prime Minister and President of the Constitutional Court will become 680.000 AMD. And the salary of the deputy of the NA will be 620.000 AMD. The authors of the project commented their recommendation saying that the wages should be increased according to the constitutional changes made in 2005, and according to the law of the civil service representatives to restore the equivalence which was adopted in 2003.
