ARMENIAN CHESS PLAYERS PARTICIPATE IN WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
Armenian Grand Master Sergey Movsisyan who presented Slovakia in Europe Single Chess Championship gained the second horizontal and Russian GM Sergey Volkov occupied the third horizontal. Ten chess players of the current competition got right to take part in World Championships and three other chess players including Armenian GM Gabriel Sargsyan have also received the license. In the female part of the championship tie-break silver and golden medal holders were announced: Viktoria Chmilite and Anna Ushenina. The chess players of seven horizontals also received the license and Armenian GM Elina Danielyan is also included in the list.
