AMBASSADOR OF LUTHUANIA IN FOREIGN AFFAIRS MINISTRY
Today the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Edward Nalbandyan received the new appointed Ambassador of Lithuania Giedrius Apuokas. According to the public relations department of the FAM greeting the Ambassador the minister wished him success in his mission. The minister mentioned that Armenia is interested in strengthening and improving the cooperation between the two countries. In this regard, he said that the founding of Lithuania Embassy in Yerevan will contribute to the development of relations. Mr. Nalbandyan said that the cooperation with Lithuania could be beneficial for Armenia-EU relations. Ambassador Apuokas mentioned that Lithuania has traditionally treated Armenia with warmth and he stated that multilayered cooperation should be established between the countries.
