FOREIGN AFFAIRS MINISTER APPOINTED
- Today the president of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan presented the new foreign affairs minister Edward Nalbandyan to the foreign affairs ministry staff. The information is provided by the press service of the presidents administration. Notifying that on 13 April two ministers were assigned: minister of defense and minister of foreign affairs, the president said that it was by chance but it is symbolic at the same time. Defense and foreign affairs are of great importance for our country, he said. According to the president, the foreign affairs have been and will remain as supreme field. Serzh Sargsyan said that possibly not only the diplomats but also society knows Nalbandyan and they evaluate his knowledge, experience and skills. The president expressed his gratitude towards Vardan Oskanyan who has been managing for 10 years countrys foreign affairs and represented our country from the stages of UN, international other organizations. He said that Oskanyans experience and skills could serve for meeting other problems.
