
TOMORROW OSKANYAN MEETS CO-CHAIRMEN IN VIENNA
Tomorrow the Minister of Foreign Affairs Vardan Oskanyan leaves for Vienna to meet with the OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairmen. According to the press and public relations department of the Foreign Affairs Ministry, the same day the minister will leave for Brussels where he will take part in Brussels Forum 2008 till 16 March. During the forum, minister Oskanyan and his colleague, the minister of the Foreign Affairs of Georgia will take part in discussion on Whether the way to Europe gets to Caucasus. The Foreign Affairs Ministers of Egypt, Swiss, Bulgaria, France, Slovakia, and Poland, the Prime Ministers of Belgium and Dania, the chief secretary of the NATO, the special representative of the EU in the Southern Caucasus and other officials will also take part at the meeting.

- 1955 Death of Dr. Artashes Abeghian.
- 1959 Death of Ashot Ter - Mkrtchyan, professor, mathematician, and mechanical engineer. He was prominent in science and technology.
- 1989 James Balyan was the first Armenian who flew in space on the "Discovery" spaceship. He was a doctor of medical sciences.
