15 TRANSLATORS WERE GIVEN CERTIFICATES
- Today 15 translators of RA justice ministry translators center state non trade center were given training and quality certificates. According to the justice deputy minister Nikolay Arustamyan, in the range of various activities, training courses were organized and held with AEPLAK Armenian representative. The deputy minister said that in the result of the cooperation and relations created among 15 European communities and Armenia in 1999 it became a necessity to overcome the language barrier. He said that an institution should be founded which could translate the legal supervision from Armenia into other languages and the opposite. Hence qualified specialists were needed, and the ministry together with AEPLAC started the course of trainings where European and national professors were invited. According to Tigran Djrbashyan, the Armenian director of AEPLAC, the establishment of the current center is a good example. He said that 15 were selected from 150 participants. Djrbashyan said that the center will work in line with European modern standards. Armenia is the eighth country which will work with those standards. It really inspires, he said. T. Djrbashyan said that the center will work by the best and worldwide known programs. He said that he is sure we are not going to concede Western Europe and Balkan countries translation centers.
