FOREIGN MINISTERS DISCUSS CONFLICT RELATED ISSUES
Armenian Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanyan met today with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Vladimir Ogrizkon. The meeting took place within the framework of a meeting between EU and Black See regional countries foreign ministers as well as Black Sea Economic Cooperation FM council special session. Armenian foreign ministry press and information department informs that the interlocutors exchanged ideas on Kiev meeting held at the level of foreign minister saying the meeting was a proof of EU increased interest in the region. Speaking about bilateral cooperation, the ministers contently mentioned that these relations are on a high level. Both sides expressed readiness to contribute to economic cooperation development which will boost trade and economic turnover. Minister Ogrizko spoke about the priorities of the Ukrainian foreign policy. He particularly spoke about the dialogue on integration with the European family. The Ukrainian foreign minister presented the pace of cooperation with NATO. The ministers exchanged ideas on regional conflicts and the developments expected after the independence of Kosovo. They also spoke about their dispositions on GUAM draft resolution submitted to U.N. General Assembly. The ministers agreed to continue their discussions at the level of U.N. representatives on the last issue.
