SOCIOLOG: 47% OF POPULATION NOT INTERESTED WITH ELECTIONS
53% of Armenian population is interested in the forthcoming presidential elections, 23.5% said that they are not interested in them because they do not want to, and 23.5% said that they are not interested in them without being intended to, said Aharon Adibekyan, the director of Sociometer sociological center. He said that those figures are taken from conducted seven polls results. 2400 adults were participating in the poll and 23.5 % of them were totally not interested in social and political activities of the country. According to Adibekyan, only 69% of population is intended to participate in the elections, the participation of 2.5% depends on circumstances (if I have time, Ill go), 4.5% said they will not participate and 24% is not interested in politics at all. Note that the polls were conducted from 8-9 February in the republic.
