ASSISTANTS CONDEMN DINK’S MURDER
The number of congressmen condemning Hrant Dinks murder and protecting article 102 increased. Five members of the Representatives Palace announced that they support to receive the article. The information is provided by Armenian Congress of America. In a week the congressmen Jerry Costello, Stefan Lynch, Edward Markey, Ed Royse, and Paul Rayne announced that they join to the group of supporters. Thus the number of the congressmen rose to 49. Anna Eshoo and Loretta Sanchez also joint the group on 8 February. Now, totally 51 congressmen support the article. Armenian Congress of America in Washington is a large pan national NGO, which contributes to the positive coverage of the Armenian question.

Today in Armenian history- 1870 Birth of Nerses Ashtaraketsee the Fifth, later to become Catholicos and a figure of the National Liberal Movement. In 1814, while leader of the See of Tbilisi (Georgia), he founded the Nersessyan School. (He died in 1957).
