HRANT DINK’S MURDER CRIMINAL CASE STARTED
The criminal case of the murder of the Editor-in-chief of Akos daily Hrant Dink started. The information is provided by NTV TV Company. According to the TV station data, it was the first time the criminal case was recorded. This is the third famous case which got a repercussion in Turkey and European Union. The delegation of human rights international federation arrived in Istanbul to follow the case. Some Members of Parliament of Turkey also participate at the criminal case session. It is important to remind that Hrant Dink was murdered in front of Akos newspaper office, in Istanbul, on 19 January 2007. Dink became famous for his sharp themes particularly covering items on Armenian Genocide. 19 people are under suspicion. It is demanded to accuse the organizers of the murder for life imprisonment, and the participants of the murder to 18-24 years imprisonment.
