AGRICULTURAL SPECIALISTS GET 3 DOLLARS FOR EACH EFFECTED SWINE
Armenian Government should compensate the agricultures for their infected swine with African cancer. The information is provided by the deputy minister of the agriculture Samvel Avetisyan. According to him they will get 1005 RA drams (3 dollars). He said that it is 75% of the market price Then the agricultures handed 1kg of meat by 1340 drams, he said. The total amount provided by the state funds exceeds 479.5 drams. He reminded that after the African cancer was found in Georgia, 8 regions in Armenia were infected also, but Tavush and Lori regions mostly affected. According to Grisha Baghyan, of the Ministry of Agriculture, said that 18 805 swine were destroyed in January. The African cancer cases are decreased only due to the cold weather, but as soon as it becomes warmer in summer, he said. As for the bird flu found in Turkey, he said that a strong supervision is being held on the boarders.
