SERZH SARGSYAN RECEIVES KFW BANK DEPUTY CHAIRMAN ROLAND ZILLER
Today Armenian prime minister, Serzh Sargsyan, received first deputy chairman of German KfW bank, Roland Ziller, government press and public relations department informs. According to the source, the prime minister expressed satisfaction with the natural development of the Armenian-German relations and said financial sector is one of the main elements of the cooperation. In his words, more than 10 years of cooperation with KfW bank have shown that good results are possible. Serzh Sargsyan underscored that not only the size of investment is important but also the selection of the sectors where the investment is made. He said the choice is correctly made both for the financial, particularly mortgage market, and energy and water sectors. He also said the social issues of the earthquake zone are in the center of our state's attention and the programs implemented by the bank in those sectors are compatible with the programs of Armenia. Welcoming the initiation to open ProCredit Bank in Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan attached important that the activities of the bank will aim the development of small and mid sized business.
