- In the presidential elections, the number of those in the election center of Republican (HHK) Chairman and Prime Minister of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan will total 1500. Most are party offices and some will be formed as the elections come close, HHK block member Galust Sahakyan released this information during a press conference today. In his words, the party will conduct the campaign on the principle of from street to street, from village to village. Sahakyan also said more than 60,000 supporters of HHK and Prosperous Armenia (BHK) will be consolidated around the election centers. The committee members have passed trainings and are aware of law and the procedures. In the opinion of the speaker, their candidate might win 65-68 percent of votes during the elections. Speaking about the possibility of the second round, HHK member said under this condition they attach higher importance to conduct of good elections however they hold the bar in such a way as to finish the elections on February 19, i.e., in one round. Comparing January 5 elections in Georgia with the presidential elections in Armenia, NA deputy said that there is one difference: in Georgia they speak about fake elections after the elections and here they fight against something that did not happen. ''I do not believe they will add extra ballots,'' he said, also saying that the hand that will add even one extra ballot into the ballot box will be considered as a traitor and will be excluded from our chamber.
