OPERA HOUSE TO HAVE NO ART HEAD
Gegham Grigoryan is no more the art head of Opera and Ballet National Academic Theater since he has filed a resignation application, Theater Director Kamo Hovanisyan told Panorama.am. He said Gegham Grigoryan has taken the decision to resign on his own. He is establishing his own theater and he wants to use all his potential and time on his own theater, theater director said. Deputy Culture Minister Karine Khodikyan said that the appointment of a new art head is not discussed so far since the theater must have a governing board composed of governing commission and members of the ministry. There will be no art head in near time and Kamo Hovanisyan will coordinate the work. Hovanisyan said that the position is filed out in the theater and the theater will have an art board and a director. Professional people will be enrolled in the board that have links with the theater, Hovanisyan said.
