HOME BLESSING ON JANUARY 6-13

We take Gods blessing to the family where we go to. To that aim, we conduct the ceremony of home blessing, priest Ter Daniel Baghumyan of St. Hovanes Church told Panorama.am. Celebrities of Home Blessing start the following week of St. Resurrection. ''According to the rule of church, on January 6-13 we have a tour of in the families of those who express willingness and conduct the ceremony of Home blessing. Sometimes this ceremony continues until the Lent,'' priest Ter Daniel said. He said it is very important that all the members of the family be baptized although he said in any case the home may be blessed. ''In addition to reading prayers to the family and the person, we bless the bread, water, wine and salt. We also burn incense'' the priest said.
