SUGGESTIONS ON DRAFT BUDGET TO AMOUNT 500
Draft budget 2008 will be put on vote in the extraordinary session of the National Assembly on November 27, standing committee chairman and member of Republican block Gagik Minasyan said. In his estimates, the deputies will come up with about 500 suggestions during the session, which are mainly of social nature. ''I believe the government will have funds to meet these demands,'' the speaker said failing to say what amount he speaks about. Minasyan refused to compare this budget with past year budgets saying it is estimated on GFS-2001 system whereas all others were executed on GFS-1986 system. ''Therefore, it is not correct to make direct comparisons,'' committee chairman said, also saying the new system enables to spend the expenditures more transparently.
