IF INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS MAKE PRESSURES ON OUR AUTHORITIES...
As known, Levon Ter-Petrosyan has submitted several suggestions to the international organizations in order changes be made in the Electoral Code of Armenia. Particularly, he suggested that voting be made in fingerprints and that the ballot papers be printed outside of Armenia. Samvel Nikoyan, secretary of Republican block, told a discussion today: ''I am surprised that the first president made such step despite of being well aware of the legislative process. We have suggested putting stamps in the passports after voting which is several step ahead of putting fingers in ink.'' Speaking about printing the ballot papers outside Armenia, Nikoyan said people who are interested in free and fair elections, may take part during the printing process. ''It is controllable and transparent. Please check the system, there is no problem,'' Nikoyan said. Armen Martirosyan, member of ''Zharagutiun'' block, said: ''They may bring the Electoral Code back to parliament any time, in case the international organizations make pressures on the authorities.''
