SERIES OF BOOKS ON ARMENIAN MANUSCRIPTS TO BE PUBLISHED SINCE NEXT YEAR
''Mother list of Armenian Manuscripts,'' a series of 30 books, will be published since 2008. As a result, 15 job places of scientific workers will open in Matenadaran, the museum of ancient manuscripts. This was informed by Hrachia Tamrazyan, director of Matenadaran. He said taking up these jobs, the new employees will become experts in Medieval studies. He said the series of the book will detail the whole collection of Matenadaran manuscripts. Speaking about digitalization of the manuscripts, the director said in case the government approves the project, local specialist and leading organizations will participate. He said currently the digitalization is done mainly on donations. Tamrazyan assured no copy will be provided to other organizations.
