GERMAN CENTER AWARDS MEDAL TO HRANT DINK
German PEN Center awarded Hrant Dink, editor-in-chief of Agos weekly recently assassinated in Turkey, with a medal of Herman Kesten. The award giving ceremony took place in German Darmstadt with the participation of the mayor of the city. According to e-media, the medal was handed to the widow of Hrant Dink, Rachel Dink. My husband was fighting with forces that were stronger than him. He wanted to inspire love and peace among people. But people announced him a betrayer and charged article 301 against him. The attack continues today as well. Agos is condemned in insult of Turkish dignity, the widow said in her speech.
