TODAY WORLD YOUTH CHESS TOURNAMENT KICKS OFF IN TURKEY
Today in Kemer-Antalia town of Turkey, world youth chess tournament kicks off. About 2000 chess players from about 500 countries will compete. During the tournament 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18 years old boys and girls will enter into competition. The competition will run in 11 rounds. The final will take place on November 28 followed by a closing ceremony next day. Armenia will be represented by 24 chess player 4 girls and 20 boys. We have no player among 8 years old. Vahagn Khachatryan is appointed as a team leader of our national team.
