SECOND SECTION OF NORTHERN AVENUE PUT INTO COMMISSION
Today the second section of the Northern Avenue linking the Opera House to the Republic Square opened. President Robert Kocharyan, Mayor Yervand Zakharyan, several community head, government members and guests were present at the ceremony. The president of the republic mentioned that Yerevan has two visit cards now the Republic Square and the Northern Avenue. He said: With the efforts of all of us, Yerevan, undoubtedly is becoming one of the beautiful cities of the world. Yerevan mayor was the main speaker of the event. Today the Northern Avenue is fully open for the society and is promising to become one of the most favorite and lively parts of the city. I am sure that Yerevan dwellers will walk with pride in the Northern Avenue, Zakharyan said in his speech.
