DO WE HAVE BEST DESIGNS AND CONSTRUCTIONS?
''The main goal of the national competition exhibition year's best design and construction is to find out the best designs and constructions created in the course of recent few years,'' Ashot Grigoryan, director of national museum-institute of architecture told a press conference today. In his words, the exhibition is important also in the sense that the society will recognize its best designers and authors of constructions. Razmik Ohanyan, city building ministry architecture department head, also present at the press conference, said the competition-exhibition aims to learn and understand today's architects and their works. It must be mentioned that architects from foreign countries also take part in the competition-exhibition that have made designs or constructed buildings for Armenia. The deadline for applications was October 31 and the competition-exhibition will open in mid November. The exhibition will last until spring but the results will be summed up on December 20-25.
