“POLITICAL FIGURES BECOME DEMOCRATIC AFTER THEY LOSE POWER,” PARTY CHAIRMAN SAYS
National Concord party will support the candidate in the upcoming presidential election that will have democratic values in his essence, Aram Harutunyan, chairman of the party, told a news conference today. In his opinion, there is no such candidate among the opposition at the moment, however, it is not excluded that before the elections someone may come out. In case we do no find a person sharing our ideas, we will propose our own candidate. It is not decided who that candidate may be, the speaker said. Harutunyan believes Levon Ter-Petrosyan is not the force around who may be possible to unite. According to the speaker, in Armenia the political figures become democratic after they lose the power.
