DASHNAK ALVARD PETROSYAN DOES NOT KNOW WHAT NEXT STEPS WILL BE AFTER RESOLUTION 106 PASSES
U.S. Congress House Foreign Relations Commissions Resolution 106 has its historic, moral and legal significance, Haik Demoyan, director of Genocide Museum, said during a meeting with reporters calling the document monumental. He called the resolution as monumental because it bridges the histories of the Armenian and American nations. According to the historian, it is a reference to American documents as well as highlights the proud history of the Americans since they have rendered various support to the genocide victims. Speaking about the same issue, Alvard Petrosyan, deputy of parliament from Dashnaksutiun said: Resolution 106 will enter the Congress and will be adopted, and we must use the period until the passage effectively. Most probably she meant the change of dispositions of several congressmen in the recent few days. What will we do after the resolution passes? Do we have the next five steps? Alvard Petrosyan said speaking about the steps to be followed after the resolution on genocide passes. The reporters raised their surprise that Dashnaksutiun does not know what the next steps will be. Isnt Dashnaksutiun the whole nation? also rhetorically said the Dashnak and also recalled the territories in the vicinity of Nagorno Karabakh that are not inhibited. I am afraid of that, she said most probably meaning that the same will happen to the lands of the Western Armenia in case they appear in our hands.
