CONSTITUTIONAL COURT TO CONTINUE ITS HEARING TOMORROW
The Constitutional Court will continue its hearing on oppositions claims on election irregularities after todays hearing which finished late today. Ruben Torosyan, representative of New Times Party and leader of Supreme Council Parliamentary Group NGO, made a demand to cancel the results of the elections on the proportional contest. He said he has collected 1.5 kg of documents. Torosyan said they are largely on unequal coverage in the TV. The Central Electoral Committee and TV and Radio National Committee arranged to create limited conditions for party campaign, NTP representative said. Torosyan got confused in the pile of documents after a 1 hour long speech. So many violations.... You do not know which one to speak about, he said. Impeachment Block made a mediation to cancel Central Electoral Committee May 19 decision on proportional list saying the Armenian constitution was violated during preparation and conduct of the elections. Orinats Yerkir (OyeK), Republic and New Times parties came up with a demand to review all record manuals of territorial election committees and precinct election committees.
