Today the youth have a number of problems, yet little is done on the state level to regulate them. “In comparison with last year the number of divorces among the youth has increased with 25%. Today the party’s youth union had invited the 3rd congress to report to their elder colleagues on their activity in the previous year. The young party members are concerned with their future. “We’ll try to attribute a new quality to our decisiveness and struggle,” S. Farmanyan mentioned. As he thinks hypothec programs are not available for the young, yet there is great demand.
NA Chairman Arthur Baghdasaryan present at the congress mentioned in the talk with correspondents that in the future they are going to introduce a project of a composite program according to which the state must be able to carry serious responsibility in the work of providing the young with flats. From this point of view A. Baghdasaryan highly estimates the experience of European countries and assures that the model they are going to suggest won’t be worse.
Besides the above mentioned problems, the youth is rather passive and almost indifferent to their rights, future and political developments. Thus, the party’s youth union aims at promoting the participation of the young in civil and political processes, informing them on their rights and investing mechanisms in defending the latter.
