KARABAKH WAR HERO LEONID AZGALDYAN WOULD TURN 69 NOV 22
- Today, November 22, hero of Nagorno Karabakh liberation war Leonid Azgaldyan would turn 69.
Azgaldyan's relatives note that most of all he respected soldier volunteers and always strived to boost their morale.
According to Azgaldyan's friends, such commanders are born once in a lifetime. He laid the foundation for Armenian armed forces, they say.
However, no book is dedicated to the hero of Karabakh liberation war, no street and no school has his name. Moreover, he has not been awarded the title of a national hero yet.
