US EMBASSY IN YEREVAN OPENS CONDOLENCE BOOKS FOR KENNEDY
- On August 31, US Embassy in Armenia will set up condolence book for Senator Edward Kennedy. Anyone wishing to express condolence may visit Embassy Monday, August 31, from 10:00-17:00. Senator Edward Kennedy, last of 3 Kennedy brothers, passed away on August 26, at age 77. Edward Kennedy was US Senator since 1962. He was Chair of Senate Committee on Health and Education. Edward’s eldest brother – US President John Kennedy - was assassinated in Dallas on November 22, 1963. Middle brother – Senator and Justice Secretary Robert Kennedy - was murdered in 1968 during presidential campaign.
