ARMEN JIGARKHANYAN FUND DIRECTOR LIFE ATTEMPTED
- The life of Arsen Elbakian, Director General of Armen Jigarkhanyan Fund, was attempted in Moscow yesterday, RIA Novosti reports. The criminal fired several shots at Elbakian, wounding him into his back and arm. Elbakian was hospitalized but nothing is reported about his health state. A criminal case was initiated. Armen Jigarkhanyan Fund is a philanthropic non-profit institution engaged in organization of theatrical performances, concerts, publication of books, etc.
