“ARMENIAN GENOCIDE 1915-1923: LOOK FROM TBILISI, ISTANBUL AND YEREVAN” CONFERENCE TO BE HELD IN TBILISI
- On April 19, Tbilisi will host “Armenian Genocide 1915-1923: look from Tbilisi, Istanbul and Yerevan” scientific conference, reported the press office of the Armenian center of cooperation Georgia. The conference is dated to the 93rd anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. The event will be held with assistance of the Armenian Genocide Institute-Museum.

Today in Armenian history- 1862 Birth of H.F.B. Lynch in London of Irish parentage. Besides his study of law, he became noted as a writer, a geographer, a politician, and a traveller, with a keen interest in Armenia. His two-volume book on his Armenia travels is a classic and describes life in Armenia at the end of the 19th century. In 1906, he was elected to serve as a member of the British Parliament. (He died in London on 1913 11 24).
